Speaking to The Light, As if, I Can
Berlin Art Institute, 2024, Berlin, DE,
Co-curated by Aarushi Zarthoshtimanesh and Marwa Elrifai
In this work I use the mirror of resilience and vulnerability of the human experience, embodying the deep scars left by separation and loss, while also offering moments of transformation and connection in their fractured forms. I investigate themes of displacement, borders and belonging. Series of work on wood, paper, fabric, metal, canvas, tape, papier mache, ink, charcoal, acrylic.
