Marwa El  Rifai is an artist born 1997, Beirut, Lebanon. Her work examines the intricate relationships between nature, materiality and spatial constructs. She explores sensory and material experimentation, integrating elements like ink, acrylic, charcoal, sound, light, and touch into her practice. She focus on concepts of space—both physical and emotional— and is particularly drawn to nature as a central theme. She works across various mediums, including paintings, drawings, video works, conceptual art books and installations. She investigates the politics and the landscape of seeing and being, the visible and the invisible. Through creating she find herself drawn to the psychology of remembering, the everyday sensible, and the fleeting existence.
